Dreamride Housebrand Bicycles
~ long travel XC and all mountain
   ~ hardball titanium 29ers
~ go faster farther with less energy

F-Series is Moab2012 brings lighter weight, custom paint, the combination of three wheel sizes in our F-Series, and the re-introduction of the Dreamride titanium hardball White Rim 29er. The F-Series big front wheel concept is now available to smaller riders as we offer a 650B alternative (F-67.5) Utilizing fifty years of riding experience and two decades of testing and development in Moab, Utah, the F-Series continues Dreamride's original design philosophy of long travel cross country. The concept has caught on, don't you think? We started it, if you don't know, or remember. But we are not interested in doing the popular thing, we are interested in going faster with less energy, so now we are doing the large front wheel thing. In a few years this idea that we have fostered and promoted as the future of mountain biking will as big a deal as suitable travel for cross country use has become. The F-Series now combines three wheel sizes--26 inch, 27.5 inch and 29 inch--to give anyone of almost any size and weight a distinct advantage over varying terrain. All Dreamride frames are guaranteed free of defects for 2 years from time of purchase. Dreamride bike purchases include invitations to join us in Moab for guided rides, and deals on exotic cycling vacations in Utah and Hawaii.

Dreamride F-69 frames are fabricated in the USA by one of our partners. Our steel POE 29ers are fabricated right here in Moab, Utah. Each Dreamride bike is custom-fitted to your body type, balanced to work with specific component packages to suit your needs on the trail. Each component selection varies according to personal needs and cosmetics. Each bike is designed and constructed, and sometimes painted, by Lee Bridgers, Dreamride owner.

2011 Dreamride F-69

mountain bikesEvolution of the Dreamride F-Series
    ~ the future is here!

With the introduction of the 29er Fox Talas and Marzocchi forks with 15mm front axles for the 2011 model year, F-Series bikes with 29 inch front wheels get a front end that can aptly balance the bike's insane speed-over-obstacles abilities. More available 650B forks and rims make it possible to offer a new F-68 for shorter riders, from 5'5" to 5'8", creating the same sort of effect of the F-69 to scale. You can also get a 29-650B combo for a light-but-tall rider, or get a straight up Fully 26 wheel front and rear for the smallest riders or anyone wanting the best in acceleration snap and slow speed handling. Utilizing the distinct combined advantages of two wheel sizes, the F-69 accelerates quickly, rolls over obstacle more smoothly and handles like nothing before it. Imagine a bike that doesn't blur you out at high speed over rough terrain. Imagine a bike that can roll over, into and out of a three foot drop without lifting the front wheel, . . and make a tight turn at the bottom, too. This is accomplished with a bigger front wheel, the right amount of travel front and rear, and geometry that reflects many years of product testing and development of the 6-9 concept. See below for pricing, component details and frame options. We are here to help you and know the things you need for us to know. In addition to custom geometry, travel and custom wheel combinations, the F-Series comes in two frame tubing versions, light weight and heavy duty.

Dreamride Fully in the shop

"It is easy to see the attention to detail and no-compromise construction, and you may know about the time-tested parts combos that flow together like braided hair, but do you know how it happens or where the knowledge needed to complete the task comes from?
"I started tinkering with old cruisers at seven years of age in 1956. In the mid 70's I was still modifying Schwinn cruisers in the Bay Area of Northern California as folks actually started building "mountain bikes" from scratch and the thing caught on. Riding became more and more restricted, so I moved to Colorado to be next to technical singletrack of the Front Range and began working on mountain bike stunts for film, magazines and television. Dreamride began as a mountain bike film service in Moab in 1996, offering hardcore day tours, slickrock skills clinics and freeride demonstrations to the public on the side. See the mountain bike segment of the popular IMAX film, EVEREST for an example of my production and stunt co-ordination. Dreamride's activities routinely and inherently demonstrate flaws and advantages of various designs. As a direct result of our job, Dreamride bikes are about performance, safety, reliability, ease of maintenance and the highest quality--because they HAVE to be. A Dreamride bike looks like a million and a half bucks because it should. It out-performs because it must--because, being an older rider who guides for a living, I need a serious advantage. Anyone who rides with me knows there is something going on here."

A bike doesn't have to be pimped to perform, but Dreamride feels that the attention to beauty reflects a commitment to performance that is certainly much more than skin deep. Under the lush paint and anodizing are the highest quality components. Behind the parts and parts combinations is knowledge born of decades of experience. Mutant drops ledges
A Testimonial:
"The bike is quick, incredibly balanced and drop dead gorgeous. I have been a titanium junky (Lightspeed) for years but I ain't ever goin' back. The Fully is sweet, tight and Oh so forgiving without being mushy or inaccurate; you point it and it goes where you want it to; you CAN thread the obstacles but if you want to go over them; go and it laughs out loud! (Or maybe that was me that was laughing). The weight was what I was the most worried about prior to my first ride but it is clear now that movement forward is impeded by vertical movement and the Fully so effectively mitigates the vertical that the small weight penalty is more than offset. This bike feels friggin'light." ~ Mike Simmons, Taos, New Mexico
